John Travolta greeted screen legend Kirk Douglas with a wet, non-sexual, man-on-man kiss after being presented with a lifetime achievement award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
Travolta, 53, who is known for memorable performances in blockbusters such as Saturday Night Fever, Urban Cowboy, Grease, Pulp Fiction and his recent hit Hairspray, was honoured with the Kirk Douglas Award for "Excellence in Film" during the event in California.
The on-stage kiss appeared to catch 91-year-old Kirk off-guard, as he kissed with his eyes open.
