~Madonna For Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2010~

Madonna has done countless photo shoots and starred in endless campaigns but this campaign for Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2010 maybe my favorite. Why? She looks real and natural, not overly done or buried under special effects. And she's never looked better. I love the authentic Sicilian feel of the photos and I swear if I didn't know better I would think these pics were taken in one of my relatives houses in Sicily rather than shot by Steven Klein in NYC. Dolce and Gabanna definitely accurately represented their Sicilian heritage for this campaign... And this "LaBella Puppetta" is loving it...xoxo

Mother Of London is a conceptual couture label headed up by Mildred von Hildegard with a definite "fetish fashion" feel to it...and a dash of "goth". I'm drooling over a few of the pieces...and I'm really feeling the job the glam squad did for the photoshoot...so lovin the hair and makeup.

FYI: In 1947, fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli introduced the color "hot pink" to western fashion. She dubbed the shade "Shocking Pink," though today the color is more well-known as "magenta."

World renowned fashion photographer chose The Plaza Hotel NYC as the scene of his latest photo-story. The subject? The uber-fab Betsey Johnson. The plot? Johnson and models Jessica, Aymalina, Daria P and Rachel Ballinger wearing pieces from the legendary designers Spring 2010 Collection... The result? Confectioned Perfection...

~Utterly Luminous...The Galaxy Dress~

I need a plane ticket to Chicago ASAP!! London designers Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz creation the "Galaxy Dress" will be the centerpiece exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Illinois.

"The Galaxy Dress" is a literally luminous garment consisting of 24,000 LEDS and 4000 Swarovski crystals. Basically...THE DRESS LIGHTS UP!! Yup!! In delicious colors!! I need to calm down...I think I just had a mini-stroke...gonna take a minute to myself.

Ok, I'm back...

The glorious garment was created by embroidering extra-thin, flexible layers of LED circuits on silk and is illuminated by using many minuscule iPod batteries that are hidden in the dress’s crinoline.

Basically...THE DRESS LIGHTS UP!!!

Now the only makeup that could do this dress justice is...LIME CRIME of course!!! And not because I'm a lil bit obsessed with the Lime Crime line but because only a company whose cosmetics are "So bright it's illegal" could do this glorious gown justice!!
