Hello Glamettes:) I have some very exciting news. So, the past few weeks I have written posts titled "The Glamarazzi", basically consisting of links I felt should be seen and read. It was my "save me from narcissism" campaign. Well, I am thrilled to announce that "The Glamarazzi' is now a full-blown link sharing network with a weekly roundup... I love teamwork!!! And I adore my teammate!! Keedah, the lovely and uber-trendy founder and editor-in-chief of "Diary Of A style Addict" and I have joined forces to run "The Glamarazzi". If you would like to be involved please contact moi at
iggimakeup@yahoo.com or Keedah at keedahwright@gmail.com . My fabulous partner has written a "press release" and worded it so eloquently that I will just relay the post:

The Glamarazzi

The purpose of The Glamarazzi is to spread fabulousness all over the web. Link exchanges build camaraderie among bloggers and is a great way to expose your readers to other link minded blogs. Its also the perfect way to direct people that may be interested in your blog to your site. The Glamarazzi is run by me, Keedah from Diary of a Style Addict, and Iggi from The Glamour Whore.

Now for the rules...

You must submit your link by 11:59PM Wednesday night by emailing it to both keedahwright at gmail.com and iggimakeup at yahoo.com. We both edit the links to please make sure you submit to both addresses. You may submit more than one link (we love having choices) but only one will be chosen. The completed link list will be emailed on Thursday. You must post the links and image in its entirety by Friday 11:59PM or you will not be able to participate in next weeks link exchange.

You must also display The Glamarazzi badge on your blog linking back to this page.

The badges can be found
here

In addition your blog must be updated a minimum of 3 times per week. Membership will be capped to a certain amount of blogs (wouldn't want to be putting out 50 links now would we?) so if you'd like to join let us know ASAP!

"I lick the gun
When I’m done
Cause I know
That revenge is sweet
So sweet"
-"G4L" Rihanna "Rated R" (Album)

At least once a week Riri wears something that makes me say "OH MY GOD" in a high-pitched nasally voice reminiscent of "Janice" from "Friends". Which means I really, really, really like it... This week she didn't disappoint. Her outfits for her "Rated R" album release parties (Yes, plural. She had 2 parties...DIVA) damn near put me in a coma brought on by intense jealously. And I knew who designed the ultra-fab metal spike embellished ensembles the minute I saw them. "The Blonds"...whom I believe to be the most underrated fashion designers. They are FABULOUS and people need to recognize (said in my "Tasha Mack" voice)...

Peep the shoes also...AMAZING.

Rihanna isn't the only "Femme Metale"...

La Lopez also loves the metal/stud/spike trend... You can find the following items @
http://www.noirjewelry.com/

This is a bold trend and to really do it justice you have to be all in...no half steppin. So take it over the top with these studded nails that Keedah from
"Diary Of A Style Addict" created...

Nice job Keedah...xoxo

"I was always a singer and a dancer, and I always wanted to be an actress. For me, it's all just one thing." -Jennifer Lopez

If you thought I was excited last week about Mz.Beyonce's new video "Video Phone"...you were right. I was beyond excited. There are certain women in the music industry that just have that "thing", the "it" factor. They know how to make a compelling visually appealing music video and they really know how to put on a show. Bey is definitely one of them. She oozes glamour and sultry sex appeal. She learned this however from the divas that came before her. This week is ultra exciting because not 1, not 2, not even 3...but FOUR showstopping divas are back...and 1 rookie who is well on her way to becoming a outright diva... It was a great week for women in music videos...

**LINK LOVE** For always providing the hottest videos I am sending big kisses to
WSHH

I'll start with the "rookie". Miss.Keri Hilson released her video for "I Like" and it's quite apparent that this young woman has a bright future ahead of her. Not only is she talented but she has that "thing" I mentioned above...that natural glamour...a style that's all her own and it's fabulous.

Keri Hilson "I Like":

Now we have Mz.Alicia Keys. I can't even say enough about Mz.Keys. Her voice is the TRUTH. Her stage presence is incomparable. And I'm happy to say she has blossomed in more than 1 way. She has come into her own style, she's rockin fab makeup looks and she has that "grown woman" vibe about her and she's is wearing it well. I am loving the looks in this video. Peep her beautifully painted back and the beyond-hot purple bodysuit...

Alicia Keys "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart":

Toni Braxton. Yup. That's what I said. I said "Toni Braxton". She's back!!!! And she sounds AMAZING and looks PHENOMENAL. She links up with the oh-so-hot (for right now) Trey Songz on her new single and video "Yesterday" and the result is...WELCOME BACK TONI!!! I am lovin her looks in this video...all of em. She even out-glams the 20something y/o blond in the video...by a mile. Her wardrobe, hair/makeup, body (can't believe she 2 kids!!) and voice are all ON POINT! Show em how it's done Toni...

Toni Braxton "Yesterday":

Now we have Janet "Mz.Jackson If You're Nasty" Jackson. There are no words... The rest of the women on this list and every other female out there tryin to do it all owe Mz.Jackson a huge THANK YOU. Whatever it is that they're trying to do, Janet did it first. And did it well. Much like her late brother Michael Jackson, Janet's career was and is groundbreaking, rule breaking and changed women's place in music and video for the better. She ALWAYS looks beyond FIERCE in her videos and on stage. Her dance and vocal skills are INSANE. And it doesn't look like there's gonna be an end to her reign anytime soon. She is most definitely in my "Glamour Whore Hall Of Fame"...

Janet Jackson "Make Me":

Last but certainly NEVER least...

JLO, Jenny From Tha Block, Lola...whateva you wanna call her Jennifer Lopez is in my mind the actual definition of "Glamour". Seriously. Her picture should appear along the definition in the dictionary. People love to criticize her abilities. Whatever... People love to criticize anyone and anything so I'm just gonna ignore them and shamelessly profess my undying admiration for la Lopez. Yup. I love her!! She reeks of glamour. Ofter reminiscent of old Hollywood...my favorite kind. Her videos contain more fab fashion, hair/makeup and accessories than an entire issue of Vogue.

Yeah, I said it. Get over it and yourself...

She sure as hell doesn't disappoint me with her video for "Fresh Out The Oven". Wearing the HOTTEST Louboutins of the season, sporting siren-red lipstick and wearing the latest trends and accessories her video is a fashion magazine in motion and I'm mesmerized by it. After you watch the video look below for some coming attractions of tomorrow night's J Lo performance at the AMAs. From the pix (provided by the fabulous
JUST JARED) it looks like she is about to SHUT IT DOWN...I heard something about "fireworks"...damn... She's gonna takeover the show in true La Lopez form...

I have also provided her new single "Louboutins" Yup, it's called "Louboutins"!!!! It's my new theme song...so f'n fabulous.

"I`d like to believe that the women who wear my clothes are not dressing for other people, that they`re wearing what they like and what suits them. It`s not a status thing." -Marc Jacobs

It's Fashion Week Spring 2010 in NYC and the energy is crazy!!!! There is absolutely nothing like Fashion Week in NYC. Well....maybe Fashion Week in Paris...nope, scratch that, I stand by my original statement: THERE IS NOTHING LIKE FASHION WEEK IN NYC!!!!

Now, I definitely have a deep passion for fashion but everyone knows my 1st true love is makeup. Francois Nars is tied with MAC for my favorite brand of all time. Imagine if MAC and Nars teamed up to create a line?! Omg...what a cute baby that would be!! Ok, I'm getting delirious...

Back to business... Francois Nars and Marc Jacobs were gracious enough to share the looks that will be seen on the runway for Marc Jacobs Runway Spring 2010. And it's FABULOUS!!!! This might be my favorite among the looks/trends I have seen during this exciting week. Francois himself describes it as "ballerina, cabaret girl, Broadway show meets opera meets Martha Graham with a touch of gothic." Delicious.

The Nars/Jacobs team has released a video showcasing the look and how it is achieved. My fellow makeup whores and fashionistas are bound to enjoy this...

~Nicholas Kirkwood and Polyvore...My Newest Addictions~

~It is not I who becomes addicted, it is my body.~ -Jean Cocteau

Let me introduce you to my latest addictions...

Polyvore:
http://www.polyvore.com/
The official "About Us" from Polyvore homepage:

Polyvore is a free, easy-to-use web-based application for mixing and matching images from anywhere on the web. It is also a vibrant community of creative and stylish people.
Polyvore lets you create sets composed of individual images using an easy to use, drag and drop editor. After you have created a set, you can publish and share it with your friends and the Polyvore community

Now Glamour Whore's description:
Polyvore is FABULOUS!! It is a amazing site to express your creativity. You can design collages, "sets", outfits, dedications to designers and so on.. It's kind of hard for me to describe so I will show you...

But first let me introduce you Mr.Nicholas Kirkwood.
http://www.nicholaskirkwood.com/
Nicholas Kirkwood is beyond a shoe designer, he is a shoe architect. His designs are original, cutting edge, fashion forward, and utterly gorgeous. He also designs for Rodarte, which just so happens to be my favorite design house.

His bio:
Nicholas Kirkwood is a shoe designer based in London who graduated with a degree in BA Fine Art from Central St. Martins before completing a course at Cordwainers. Kirkwood won the Condé Nast Footwear Emerging Talent of the Year award with his first collection in 2005 and has since carved a distinct signature style with his constant innovation of form and use of unconventional materials such as stingray, watersnake and python. Refusing to design flat-soled shoes, Kirkwood has caught the attention of Grace Jones and Cecilia Dean of Visionaire and has collaborated with designers such as Rodarte, Gareth Pugh and Chloé. His Spring/Summer 08 collection saw a collaboration with Swarovski and subsequently won him the Alta Roma Vogue Italia Award for accessories design. At the 2008 British Fashion Awards he was presented with the Swarovski Emerging Talent Award for accessory design. Nicholas Kirkwood’s shoes are sold worldwide and stockists include Liberty, Browns, Dover Street Market, Le Bon Marché and Seven New York.

I am completely obsessed by his designs and consumed with urgency to purchase my first pair...Yes, Glamour Whore has goals and aspiration, I aspire to own Nicholas Kirkwoods!!

To introduce you to my newest obsessions/addictions I have combined them. I made a Nicholas Kirkwood "set" on Polyvore. Before I show you my creation take a look at some of
Nicholas Kirkwood's shoe architecture that didn't make into the "set"
